LONG FORM DOCUMENTARY

ROLE:  CO-DIRECTOR, PRODUCER, ADDITIONAL EDITING

Substance use disorder kills more people every year than any other disease and yet only 1 in 10 people who need treatment get access to it.  These are unheard stories of the addiction crisis from families whose lives have been forever changed by addiction and the experts dedicated to changing the outcome for those suffering from this fatal disease. It follows families on the frontline of America’s greatest public health crisis sharing their loss, frustration, and hope for how we can do better.

Originally produced for CBS News in collaboration with the Partnership to End Addiction, this feature length documentary is now available to stream on Pluto TV, Amazon, Roku, and Peacock.  The film has been shown at festivals across the country winning Best Original Story, Best Feature Documentary and maybe most importantly it has been shown in a number of grassroots screenings organized by schools, harm reduction centers, churches, treatment facilities and community centers across the country.  It has been included as a part of the curriculum for the harm reduction certification at Montclair University and will be screening at college campuses across the country with the Social Impact Film Festival.
